Shure Beta 58A Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone
The Beta 58A is Shure's premium supercardioid vocal microphone. Its tighter pickup pattern rejects more of the stage and monitors than a cardioid, which helps when the singer is close to the wedges and the mix is loud.
A neodymium magnet gives a hotter output and an extended high-frequency response, while the hardened steel grille and internal shock mount reduce handling noise. It is the usual choice for lead vocals in rock, pop and function bands.
